a&dc at key Assessment Centre conference in South Africa
The book ‘Assessment Centres and Global Talent Management’ – which was co-edited by Dr George C. Thornton III, Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Colorado State University, and our CEO Nigel Povah – concluded that there’s much evidence highlighting the value of Assessment Centres in selecting, promoting and developing talent.
This was explored further at the combined 37th International Congress on Assessment Centre Methods in March. The event, which was hosted in Stellenbosch, South Africa, was held in conjunction with the 33rd Annual Assessment Centre Study Group (ACSG) Conference. It brought together leading local and international Assessment Centre experts, and our Director of Product Development, Dan Hughes, co-presented a keynote session.
The conference also honoured George Thornton with a Legacy Award as a world-leading authority and for his outstanding contribution to Assessment Centre research.
