Mike joined a&dc in 2000, having previously worked for 13 years in international Sales and Marketing within the construction and pharmaceutical industries. He has worked on a large number of Assessment and Development assignments which have involved identifying and measuring the skills associated with success in a wide variety of roles. He has designed selection processes and competency frameworks at everything from graduate to Main Board level.
Mike has worked with many clients including HM Revenue & Customs, Nestle, Philip Morris International, Morgan Stanley, European Space Agency, Northern Gas Networks, Sainsbury’s Bank, Syngenta, Tesco and the NHS. He has helped organisations to identify what skills their managers will need in the future and then assess their existing levels of performance. He has also designed and run workshops both in the UK and overseas on a wide range of topics to increase managers’ self-awareness and to improve specific skills. Mike also coaches senior executives, helping them to focus on particular problems and to enhance their performance as leaders.
Mike has done business in over 50 countries worldwide and believes that his “real world” experience helps him to understand what managers in large organisations are up against.
