  • Senior Associate Consultant

Maria joined a&dc as a Senior Associate Consultant in 2015.  Maria is a proven Coach, Mentor, Learning, Development & Talent Leader with extensive expertise in designing, implementing and delivering Leadership and Talent development solutions for a range of global organisations. Maria specialises in one-to-one and group coaching, training design, delivery & facilitation.

A key foundation of all of Maria’s work, both with individual and teams, is the “Thinking Environment”® developed by Nancy Kline. This is grounded and based on an attitude of non-judgement and a genuine interest in the client, rather than the coach/consultant’s agenda. Maria creates an environment in which individuals or teams are able to truly think, and where they are able to generate transformational solutions for themselves and their organisations. Maria’s interests also centre around using a strengths-based approach to learning, coaching and development.

Maria has worked in many sectors including retail, finance, law, and automotive, and holds many qualifications and memberships including: Accredited Coach with Oxford Coach Mentoring (EMCC accredited), Accredited Time to Think Coach, BPS Ability Test & Personality Test trained, Accredited Partner for Strengthscope™ (individual and team practitioner), Birkman International Assessment Accreditation Certificate level 1, Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), European Mentoring Coaching Council (Lead Volunteer for the Yorkshire network), Association for Coaching and Chartered Institute of Professional Development.

Maria is curious, inquisitive, determined, creative, down to earth, warm and empathetic. These strengths help to bring out the best in others. She is always learning and looking for opportunities to grow so in 2017 is completing an Accredited Team Coaching qualification with the OCM, Time to Think Accredited Facilitators Programme and looking to complete A&DC’s Assessor Skills training.
