Graduate DILEMMAS™ further develops its psychological credentials...
By James Foster

Following continued usage of Graduate DILEMMAS™ by a number of major UK recruiters, A&DC are pleased to announce significant new developments to this leading online Graduate sifting tool.

Research shows that Graduate DILEMMAS predicts Assessment Centre performance

  • Graduate DILEMMAS has been shown to be an effective predictor of Assessment Centre performance, with a correlation of 0.54 being found between the Overall Judgement Score on Graduate DILEMMAS and an overall assessment centre score in one study.

Two new norm groups now available

  • New norm groups are now available for Graduate DILEMMAS, consisting of a sample of 1,699 Graduate Applicants and a sample of 1,119 Public Sector Graduate Applicants.  This brings the total number of available norm groups to five.

Research measures the stability of Graduate DILEMMAS scores over time

  • A study has shown adequate levels of stability of Graduate DILEMMAS scores over time, with a correlation of 0.68 found between scores when the test was completed by the same candidates on two separate occasions.

Relationship between Graduate DILEMMAS and Cognitive Ability tests established

  • Participant data on Graduate DILEMMAS was compared to the same Participants’ performance on three different reasoning tests (numerical, verbal and logical).  A correlation of 0.36 was found between Graduate DILEMMAS and a composite cognitive ability score.  This correlation shows that the two types of test are not interchangeable and supports the use of Graduate DILEMMAS alongside, or as an alternative to, traditional reasoning tests.
