Administrative Dilemmas™ - Free Validation Studies

Get Involved in the Development of New Situational Judgement Tests

What is Administrative Dilemmas™?

Administrative Dilemmas is a new Situational Judgement Test used at the initial sifting stage for the recruitment of administrative employees.  The test measures five competencies that represent the profile of a successful Administrator across a wide variety of industries and administrative roles.

Why do we need your help and who do we need?

As Administrative Dilemmas is a new tool, we want to conduct validation studies to determine the relationship between scores on the test and job performance.  We are therefore keen to work with organisations who are interested in using the tool to conduct such studies.

To conduct a validation study we require at least 50 administrative staff to complete the test, which takes around 30 minutes.  We also require job performance data on these individuals.  This could be existing appraisal ratings or we can work with organisations to collect performance ratings as part of the study.

Can you provide us with 50 administrative staff to take part in a validation study?

What’s in it for my organisation?
  • Free credits to conduct the trial and will match the number you provide for trial with an equal number of free administrations, eg if you provide us with 70 managers for the trial, we'll provide you with 70 free test administrations of the test – worth £700.
  • Free system set up on our Apollo online assessment platform so that you can use the test – worth £750.
  • A validation report, providing you with information about the extent to which Administrative Dilemmas predicts performance within your organisation.
What’s in it for my administrative staff?
  • A comprehensive feedback report that indicates how their judgement compares to the consensus of other administrative staff, in relation to planning and organising, service orientation, effective communication, achieving results and teamwork with some suggestions for development.  (The report will be sent to the Participant once the trial has finished.)
What will they have to do?
  • Each person taking part will be required to complete the test online, which will take approximately 30 minutes.
  • In the test, respondents will be presented with a series of situations that someone in an administrative role might experience at work.  They will be asked to rate the effectiveness of different actions for the given situation.
  • The test will be accessed by clicking on a link which we will supply you with.
