Development Centres

Starting the learning process

Development Centres not only help people to identify the need for behavioural change, they are also a powerful means of identifying emerging talent with high potential. 

They achieve this by providing a thorough, accurate and objective synopsis of participants’ strengths and development needs in relation to a set of competencies.

Our Development Centres comprise of a mix of simulation exercises, which can either be bespoke designed, or taken from our AC-EXS range. These are often supplemented by the inclusion of psychometrics and other diagnostic tools.

To facilitate behavioural change, we usually incorporate a self-development module in the timetable, which offers techniques for reflection, assimilating feedback, self-analysis and personal development planning.

Typically at the end of a Development Centre, each participant receives feedback based on a detailed report.  Data relating to individual participants can also be aggregated to reveal trends regarding particular competencies and job functions or levels.

Our experience in this area covers all levels of management in many business functions, including Production, Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, HR and Sales.
